MDG Car Recovery is a trading name of MDG Car Recovery Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is located in Bristol, United Kingdom.

We provide vehicle recovery, breakdown assistance, jump start services, vehicle diagnostics, and plant and machinery transport across Bristol and surrounding areas.

These terms apply to all services provided by us, whether booked by phone, online form, WhatsApp, or any other method of communication.

Our Services

We offer emergency roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, and transport services for cars, vans, motorcycles, 4x4 vehicles, quads, buggies, and plant machinery.

All services are provided by trained, insured drivers using appropriate equipment for your vehicle type.

We aim to respond as quickly as possible, but response times are estimates and not guaranteed. Factors such as weather, traffic, and location may affect arrival times.

We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe the job poses a safety risk to our staff, your vehicle, or third parties.

Booking and Acceptance

By requesting our services, you confirm that you are the owner of the vehicle or have the owner's permission to arrange recovery or assistance.

You are responsible for providing accurate information about your location, vehicle type, and the nature of the breakdown or recovery required.

If inaccurate information is provided, we reserve the right to adjust the price or cancel the job without liability.

We will confirm the job details and price before we dispatch a driver. Once confirmed, a contract is formed between you and MDG Car Recovery.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.

We provide upfront pricing before we begin any work. No hidden fees or surprise charges will be added without your prior agreement.

Payment is due at the time of service unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.

We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, and major debit or credit cards.

If payment is not made on time, we reserve the right to charge interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your request for services at any time before we dispatch a driver without charge.

If a driver has already been dispatched, a cancellation fee may apply to cover our time and fuel costs.

We will notify you of any cancellation fee before it is charged.

Refunds are issued at our discretion and only in circumstances where services were not provided as agreed.

Liability and Insurance

We hold comprehensive public liability and goods in transit insurance. All vehicles transported are covered while in our care.

Our liability for loss or damage to your vehicle is limited to the value of the vehicle or the cost of repair, whichever is lower.

We are not liable for:

• Pre-existing mechanical faults or damage
• Loss of personal belongings left inside vehicles
• Costs incurred due to delays beyond our control
• Consequential losses such as lost earnings or missed appointments

You are responsible for removing all personal belongings from your vehicle before recovery unless otherwise agreed.

Vehicle Condition and Safety

By requesting our services, you confirm that your vehicle is in a safe condition to be recovered or transported.

If we identify a safety risk, such as fuel leaks, unstable loads, or hazardous materials, we may refuse service or require additional precautions at your cost.

We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing weak spots, rust, or structural issues that become apparent during loading or transport.

Plant and Machinery Transport

For plant and machinery transport, you confirm that equipment is clean, free from hazardous materials, and in a safe condition for loading and transport.

You are responsible for ensuring all attachments, buckets, and loose parts are secured or removed before transport.

We require accurate weight and dimensions for all plant machinery to ensure the correct transport vehicle is used.

Website and Online Quotations

Our website allows you to submit job details and generate quotations. These quotations are estimates based on the information you provide.

Final pricing may be adjusted if the actual job differs from the information provided.

We do not guarantee that the website will be available at all times. We may suspend access for maintenance or updates without notice.

Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process your personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

Your information is used solely to provide our services, communicate with you, and for administrative purposes.

We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 working days.
